~/ai-consultant/us · azgard in the united states
ai consultant for the united states.
Most AI consulting sold to American small businesses ends at a strategy deck and a subscription. Azgard's engagements end in a working system your team owns and runs: AI built into your quoting, your scheduling, your client follow-up, on the tools you already pay for. One engineer, Sydney-based, delivering remotely across the country.

the picture
the united states picture.
The United States has more small businesses than anywhere else Azgard works, and most of them look nothing like the AI industry's picture of a customer. The largest small business employers are food service, retail, construction, and professional firms: owner-run operations that quote, schedule, invoice, and carry most of their working knowledge in a few people's heads. That is the shape Azgard builds for, and it is the same shape in Queens as it is outside Austin.
Interest here is well past the early-adopter stage. Chambers of commerce in Chicago, San Francisco, and Austin now run standing sessions teaching owners what these tools actually do, and the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco convened a panel in 2026 on small business AI adoption specifically. Almost all of that teaching stops at the tools. Azgard starts where it stops: a working system inside your own accounts and files, documented in plain English, run by your own people once the engagement ends. Nothing gets rented back to you.

common questions
asked from the united states.
- How do calls work between the United States and Sydney?
- Sydney is a day ahead, so the shared hours sit in your afternoon. Early afternoon on the West Coast and late afternoon on the East Coast both land in Sydney's next morning, which is when live sessions run. Everything is recorded, and the build happens inside your own tools between sessions, so progress never waits on a shared hour.
- Are prices in US dollars, and who am I contracting with?
- Prices show in US dollars and payment is by card. The business behind them is Australian: Azgard has no US entity, no US office, and no US staff, so you are contracting with an Australian company and the invoice comes from one. If your accountant or procurement team needs extra paperwork for a foreign supplier, ask before you buy and it gets sorted first.
- What does an engagement actually look like?
- Most start with a two-hour AI Fundamentals session for whoever runs the business, then a done-with-you Kickstart that stands up a Company Brain on your real jobs, quotes, and documents. After that it is your call: an audit of one process, a pilot build, or an ongoing capability partnership. Nothing requires a year-long commitment before you have seen the work.
- How do I choose an AI consultant for a small business?
- Ask three things. Who does the building, by name, and will that person still be on the call after the sale. What do you own at the end: files and accounts under your control, or something that stops working when you stop paying. And what will they tell you AI cannot fix in your business. Azgard answers those the same way every time: one engineer builds it, you own all of it, and the honest list of limits comes in the first session. Azgard is the wrong fit if you want a large delivery team, a US-based supplier, or someone to operate the system for you permanently.
- Is it a problem that you are not in the United States?
- It changes the schedule, not the work. The build happens in your accounts, your files, and your tools, which are as reachable from Sydney as from the next suburb, and every session is recorded and written up. What you give up is the option of having someone walk into your office on a bad Tuesday. Businesses that need that should hire locally, and Azgard will say so rather than talk you out of it.
